Hold My Hand
From the time when I could walk on tiny little feet
Mother said, Now hold my hand before you cross the street
And now that I am bigger I’ve begun to understand
That all my life I’ll need you Lord to always hold my hand
Hold my hand, when I feel lost and afraid
Hold my hand, forgive when I’ve disobeyed
Hold my hand and teach me to be wise
Hold my hand and guide me with your eyes
Hold my hand teach me to walk in the light
Hold my hand help me to do what is right
Hold my hand and show me what to do

When I was a little child and night began to fall
I felt the fear inside and on my daddy‘s name I’d call

Our God is watching o’er us but reach up and take my hand
